Woman Arrested for Deleting Saved

www.gamedev.net reports of a Woman in
Japan who was arrested for erasing the saved data from his game of Lineage,
the popular Massively Multiplayer game in Asia. The jilted girlfriend,
said to be in her thirties, logged onto her ex-lover's Lineage account
with his username and password. Once there she deleted his game data including
all the items, weapons and clothes he had collected. Click

Stern to Release The Sopranos Pinball

reports details of Stern's new Pinball machine based on the hit HBO series,
The Sopranos. The aim of this pinball is to become The Boss. You do this
by completing eight specific tasks shown by the eight red playfield inserts
around the Under Boss insert above. The tasks are: Advance to Under Boss
rank, Collect a Stugots Multiball super jackpot, acquire sufficient Bada
Bing awards, hijack sufficient trucks, bury enough bodies, get enough
Sleep with Fishes, complete all the episodes and collect enough rollover
lane multipliers.

It was quite a turnout this week at the "crazyhouse" , with
the highest attendance ever. So crowded that Keith did not have enough
computers to accomodate and didn't get to play (much).

MS Games Announces Age of Empires
III

Mischief and Weas' favorite RTS series is about to be sequeled as Ensemble
studioes announces the development of Age of Empires III. Although no
release date is officially announced, the game is said to be feature complete
and could be seen in a matter of months. Ensemble used a new engine for
this game and promises some fantastic graphics. The question for local
gamers is will Weas purchase this game as he has not even purchased a
copy of the new Stronghold 2.
Splinter Cell to hit Big Screens

Paramount has bought the film rights to Tom Clancy's video game Splinter
Cell for director Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights) to direct, according
to Variety.Video game which is in its second edition, follows the adventures
of government spy Sam Fisher as he's dispatched to infiltrate an international
terrorist syndicate and stop a high-tech threat. Paramount said the movie's
aimed at combining the vidgame's blend of stealth action with a "cool"
character.
