Peter Clark to join SCEA
Sweet P T leaves 989 Studios to join SCEA as a full Producer under Perry Rodgers. Peter Clark starts next week and will have 2 Assistant Producers report to him. In his farewell speech, he promises to pay for a going-away party for himself. Gamelord.org promises to reveal this party spot so that all may attend and get free drinks.

Rumor: Pixar working on a top secret TRON?
Some interesting developments have popped up about this story, and that's that there may well be two TRON projects bidding to be the 'next TRON movie', but both within Walt Disney's empire. The first we heard about yesterday and concerned TRON and PIXAR (which is in a deal with Disney, thus being the tie-in for a possible sequel/remake) Then there is the project at Disney Animation (Yes, this has NOTHING to do with the alleged Pixar project, if it even exists) and is called WARRIORS OF TRON, apparently they have a script and are now conducting initial storyboards and animatic tests.

Someone you know? But just a rumor
Konami has said goodbye to its VP of marketing, Tim Dunley. The Redwood City based Konami of America put Dunley on "indefinite leave" pending an investigation into the termination of one of Dunley's female marketing product managers. Details are sketchy, but apparently after Dunley let this lady go, she threatened to file a lawsuit against Konami. Management placed Dunley on "leave," then only recently gave him his walking papers. You'll see it in other news wires in a few weeks. Our source would not confirm whether this was over sexual harassment or not. But with the penalties of such an action, you know the Japanese management wasn't taking any chances, so it makes sense to boot Dunley. Gotta wonder what his golden parachute was like, huh? 200k perhaps? They're going to have to sell more copies of Metal Gear Solid now to cover his "hush money" payment.

Letter from CARB
As recently posted, gamelord.org is not responsible for any "bashing", we have had a couple of hacking problems and although we have apologized publicly to all parties that were bashed, exposed, or featured by this hacker, we cannot accept responsibility for his actions. After hacking gamelord.org once then hacking the ']['ransformers clan page, our hacker friend has hacked Gamelord.org again. The editor was questioned about the hackers and stated, "Well, our new motto is 'We never make the same mistake 3 times." This situation is in full investigation and we plan to hunt down and prosecute this culprit. Many of the people exposed by this hacker have threatened lawsuit against Gamelord.org.
