Have you just bought a new TNT2 card for your AMD-based system? Then you know that they won't work for anything. Although Ali and Nvidia are currently working to fix this problem and haven't really done anything, there does exist a AGP driver that will "band-aid" the problems. Herndon, Va., June 16, 1999 -- Digital Video Express, LP announced today that it will cease marketing of the Divx home video system and discontinue operations, but existing, registered customers will be able to view discs during a two-year phase-out period. Making a break from the norm with classic game re-releases, Capcom of Japan will only publish one classic Mega Man adventure per disc, knocking the price down to roughly $25.00 each. Look for a total of six different games, released monthly beginning in August, complete with all-new PlayStation goodies, such as PocketStation support and the ability to change the game's settings (something the originals sorely lacked).

Ventura Puts Stern in His Place
NEW YORK (AP) _ Finally, a man big enough to put Howard Stern in his place. Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura did it at a New York book signing Wednesday, snubbing one of Stern's long-haired, T-shirt clad reporters by refusing to appear on the shock jock's radio program, and yanking the guy's chain a little in the process. ``Why don't you come on our show, Governor?'' the reporter asked. The one-time professional wrestler chastised Stern for once keeping him on hold for 20 minutes, then telling the campaigning candidate there just wasn't enough time left to put him on air. ``What goes around, comes around,'' Ventura said. Stern's public relations agency had no comment on the incident. Ventura was in Manhattan autographing copies of his new book, ``I Ain't Got Time to Bleed.''
