Addendum
to Sherri Suto Avoids Cops story
Sherri Claims that the story printed earlier was not entirely true.
Sherri claims that Dave Lee is responsible for the pull-over because
he was asked to see if any cars were around but he said no and failed
to see a cop that was only 2 feet away? Talk about blind! Plus Sherri
had some visitors from Japan in her car and they thought it was
hilarious and wanted to take pictures of the cop.

Nikola Trifunovic Leaves 989 Studios

and Sony over the past 3 years. It has been a wonderful experience

Sherri Suto was heading down the 280 today and gets pulled over
for speeding. No ticket...just a warning... The Policeman says to
her, "next time you see try not to speed up and smiles"
Moral of Story: If you're Sherri, speed up when you see cops. Nothing
will happen to you.

New Room at SCEA
The artist formerly known as 989 studios (SCEA now) has been the
talk of the town as the first wave of lay-offs begins today. Brian
Wiklem, Kevin Tanimoto, and Perry Rodgers are the first victims.
The only good news in all this is that this frees up extra space
for the new hires that SCEA will see in production. The person that
Ron Allen was hired instead of can now be hired and Gamelord.org
is proud to see that he finally will make it to Sony. And I'm sure
Ron's happy since he stole the job from him in the first place....

Unofficial rumors support claims that Seth Luisi may move in with

Sony Online Entertainment making the move
After Dave Woldman left SOE, SOE knew that things could only get
better. And purchased the company known for Everquest, Verant. SOE
will probably shut down all Production in Los Angeles and move everything
to San Diego, the home of Verant. Among other rumors, SOE may have
new players from 989 Studios. What that means for Don Vercelli,
I don't know.

2 weeks ago for making a long distance phone call. Sources close
to the situation say that he used his own phone card to call and

got to rub elbows with the wrestlers of the WCW. "It was a

Sega announced there will be a Visual Memory mini game in Sega GT
Homologation Special, called Homo Pocket, featuring a collection
of mini games, such as Driver Promotion simulation, in which you
can train your own drivers in this game, after his levels are improved,
you can bring him back to the Dreamcast. There is also a Prize Game
in which you can earn money after winning the matches, which you
can use toward upgrading your vehicles in the actual game. Sega
GT: Homologation Special is scheduled to release in Japan on February
17.

Addendum to
ZD Net Awards Story by CM
Not only did GT2 win the best racing game of the year, it also won
the best PSX game of the year. We lost to FF8, duuu. Star Ocean
was also up for the best RPG, tell Pete. Soul Caliber also won best
fighting game of the year and best graphics of the year. 3 awards

A message from Ashif Hakik
So to everyone wondering where my updates are regarding how to sleep
on the job,...Sorry,..but I've noticed now that most people know
how already,..and I can learn a few things from everyone else on
the subject :) Anyhow,..I put a few new peces that I'm working on
at MP3.com,... if you have some time check them out, they aren't
great pieces,..but they are ideas I'm toying with when I stray from
working,..or gearing up the computer. I'll probably be regularly
updating this stuff, and try to get a basic library of music up
there for everyone to hear.. Maybe even some Voice/Comedy skits.
And don't eat too much snow this season all you trendy extreme sports
