Chad Lowe Expecting New Child
saturday, september 24, 2005
Here's the note from Chad Lowe:
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all doing well, and life is being good to you. I have decided to drop you all an email with some new on the home front. My wife and I are expecting our second child. Monica is 9 weeks along, and the baby is healthy. We had been trying for a second child for about 5 years, and once we stopped “trying” to get pregnant, well we get pregnant! Isn’t that how it always works?
For the last 9 months I have been on the look out for a new job. Currently I am back in test at SONY as a contract tester. I have been looking to get back into production since and I know that 12 bucks an hour as a tester is not going to cut it with a baby on the way. If anyone knows anyone who is hiring, please let me know. I would appreciate any help. I just want an opportunity to work for a good solid company and not have to worry about loosing my job in six months due to downsizing or loss of a project etc. For those of you, who I have been in contact with, thank you very much for all your help.Again I hope you are all well. Chad Lowe.
Please send any info you have for Chad Lowe here.

THQ hires Kelly Flock, Peter Dille leaves
sunday, september 4, 2005
After announcement of the hiring of Kelly Flock and the new executive structure where Dille would report to Flock,
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Peter Dille has left the company.
A THQ spokesperson reportedly confirmed the news, stating that Dille
"is leaving his post at THQ to pursue other opportunities." Dille and Flock had worked together at SCEA/SISA in the late 90's but their relationship at Sony didn't have the appearance that there was any conflict between the two. Dille was next in line for VP of Marketing at the time and Kelly Flock was VP of the Product Development arm of Sony at the time. Kelly Flock joins THQ as Executive Vice President of worldwide publishing, Flock
will report directly to Brian Farrell, president and CEO of THQ. Flock brings to THQ more than 20 years of publishing, sales, marketing
and licensing experience in the video game industry, including having served
as president and CEO of Sony Online Entertainment, president of 989 Studios,
and president of Sony Interactive Studios America. Flock also served as
general manager of LucasArts Entertainment Company where he managed the game
division of Lucasfilm Ltd.
Michael Mullen Leaves for AOL
saturday, september 3, 2005
We'll Miss Michael but wish him the best of luck. Here's his fairwell address:
I’m sad to report that I’m leaving the EA family after 5 ½ years and my last day here at EARS will be on September 2.So where am I going? I’m headed to Virginia to work with the AOL Games group as Editorial Programming Manager. While I’ll have to work closely with online gaming efforts, I’ll also be working on efforts to help make AOL Games a destination for gamers, studios, and publishers. I still love games and still love all the games that I’ve been helping you work on (especially Burnout Revenge) and can’t wait to see what you unveil after I leave. Personally, this was a hard decision to make since I love working here. I have friends here who almost feel like family at times. But my own family comes first and my desire to purchase my first (affordable) home and the ability to experience the lives of my extended family firsthand ultimately won. As always, if you’re ever in the Washington, D.C. area and looking to hook up or show off your latest work effort...
