Foster
City, CA, January 29, 2001 - It's the beginning of a
new millenium and it's a new beginning for GameLord.org
- The Industry's Internal Affairs. In a foreseen announcement,
the GXNetwork ceases the popular webhosting network
of all afiliated gaming sites. After nearly a year and
a half, the company started by Thresh himself has fallen
like most of the Dot Coms have fallen, quick and without
warning.
After
leaving the GXNetwork, GameLord.Org was picked up by
the Gameglow network at gameglow.com. Promising to pick
up where the GXNetwork left off and with great enthusiasm
for building an empire around itself, gameglow seemed
to be the place to be. Without any warning to it's affiliates,
the gameglow network disbanded. The only information
of what had happened is still the top story on their
main site. It tells a tale about how legal problems
closed the network and that no one at gameglow were
allowed to disclose any information.
GameLord.Org
will not give up so easily. Although we are on the lookout
for a new sponsor, we will be hosted privately and we
promise to bring you the most intereting content you
have ever seen. As The Game Lord says, "You ain't
seen nothing yet."
Gamelord.org,
The Industry's Internal Affairs, is a wholly-owned division
of The Game Lord. Headquartered in Foster City, California,
with additional development studios in San Diego and
Los Angeles, Gamelord.org reports news from all videogame
development studios of console and PC games. All members
of the staff do not necessarily reflect the same views
as gamelord.org.
