I'm Back!
|
After a much needed vacation from the rigors of keeping you people updated, and at the request of all my loyal readers and many fans, I have returned to sling the hash, dish the dirt, and make of fun all my friends.
"Saturday, I escape from my oven..." That is a direct quote from Pisser. But what is he thinking? The real oven is his house. And every Saturday night we voluntarily enter his oven looking for candy and video games. On the other hand, what are we thinking???
Pisser also felt we were flat during LAN gaming after the Jar of Shame BBQ the week before. I figured out what was missing. We were all missing Starfury. Well guess what folks, after missing the pre-game meal, and missing our not so glorious introduction to Homeworld 2, Starfury surprised us all by showing up. It did not take him long before the familiar curses of "I hate this map", and "I don't understand" were heard echoing off the walls. My most frustrating moment occurred when in an effort to help Starfury I answered his question.
Here's the scene. Starfury was just in a firefight with KrazyKarl. Somehow KK got the best of him.
Starfury, "I can't believe he killed me. Did I do any damage to him?"
"You did 80 health and 20 armor," I reply.
Starfury, "I emptied my clip into his back. Why didn't he die? Did I hurt him?"
"You did 80 health and 20 armor," I repeat.
Starfury, "Is that what he has left or what I did?
"What the frick!?! You asked what you did and I told you what you did!!! You did 80 health and 20 armor!!!" I yell back.
Arggggg.
Dinner once again was at Primary. In this heat where we are all faced with the possibility of melting, I demanded on dinner at a place with good air conditioning. I thought we would not be able to eat at Primary because they (Bunny and Pisser) were supposed to have dinner from there the night before. That different happen, and here's the story.
Bunny is planning an evening of dinner and movies. Priscilla, and the Ethan's are coming over, and of course Pisser is there because he lives there. As Bunny leaves work, she orders dinner. She wants to pick it up on her way home. She arrives at Primary and she tells them she is here to pick up her take out order. They ask if she is Valerie. She says no, her name is Bunny. They ask if she ordered soup and beans and curry. She says that's not her order. She checks her cell phone for the number she called and she realizes that she called the other Chinese food place she likes. Ha ha ha.
They're all so silly.
