Simply Cool

Everyone still peeks at the 'classic' game rack looking for a cheap thrill and sometimes you find a game that's suprisingly cool. Dungeon Keeper 2 is one of those games (at least for me anyway).

In Dungeon Keeper 2, each player's persona is that of a demon or godlike being bent on creating a dungeon for his minions to live and play. Little imps run around doing your bidding: digging out tunnels, collecting minerals, dragging items to and fro. As your dungeon becomes larger, it begin to attract other subterrainian creatures that will inhabit your realm. When two dungeons meet, battles ensue: each side trying to invade its opponents space while protecting its own.

The graphics are pretty sweet and the sound effects are simple and effective. View is generally 3rd person with a special function for 1st person view as seen thru one of your minions. Watching is just as much fun as playing. A definate 'keeper'.
