Concept/Originality: B
Yeah, four-player melee's been done before, but not with flying saucers, a magic lantern, a sinking cruise ship or flying cows. The cutscenes, the director announcing upcoming hazards and the replay feature really make the story here.
The minigames themselves appear to be variations on playground games or minigames that have been done elsewhere before, so one point off, but no more.

Graphics: A
Everything is well-modelled and well-textured, with a couple of neat shader tricks (reflective water, Background-rippling shockwaves, dust, scratches and projector burns) added in. Background art is vivid and pleasant to look at without distracting users from the task of beating the snot out of their adversaries.
Level/Map Design: A
Good use of parody movie themes to create environmental hazards and traps. The `Titanic' parody is particularly brilliant.
Sound: B
Some of the BGM is just a teensy bit bland, but other than that, no problems to report. Of course, thanks to custom soundtrack support, players aren't just stuck with what Just Add Monsters wanted them to have, anyway. Character sounds are well done, along with the expected exaggerated punch and kick sounds. The missed taunt/insult sounds are particularly memorable ("YOU TOO FAT!!").

Gameplay: C (weighted twice as much as other categories)
The combat is good, but not great. The computer players block too much and with too much accuracy (there should be an option to completely disable blocking), the control layout's a bit cumbersome and can't be remapped, and attacks in general seem to do too much damage, but not enough knockback. The taunt system is a clever idea,
but it loses something in the implementation (again, this might have been helped by remappable controls). Additionally, we felt that the game started with too much stuff locked at the beginning to be useful immediately as a `party' game.
On the plus side, good variety of stages and a minigame every now and then to break things up makes some of the flaws more palatable.
Overall: Wicked ideas, but could have been better executed. B-
