If you were a fan of NEOGEO and you have ever called the SNK Hotline,
you probably have heard the many messages of The Game Lord. In his
5 year (1991 - 1996) reign at SNK, The Game Lord handled quite the
tasks at SNK including PR, Marketing, Sales, and development of
Software. In the beginning, there was barely more than 5 employees
at SNK, Home Entertainment, Inc. and each employee was to make the
most of it. Most of the marketing by The Game Lord during this time
can be seen in the form of magazines inserts, post-cards, flyers,
trade shows, etc. In this time, many stars of the industry have
worked side by side with The Game Lord including Kent Russell, Ami
Blaire, Pamela Kelly, David Platshon and Heh-Kyu Sincock. These
stars still shine bright in the Video Game Industry.
Before becoming
The Game Lord of SNK, he was a pauper working at Captron - World
of Nintendo in the Lakewood Mall, CA. A job in which he had only
time to play the many games of the NES.
After his reign at SNK, he made a big move to Sony which he is presently
employed. After 4 years of hard work with Sony Interactive Studios
America, 989 Studios and Sony Computer Entertainment America, The
Game Lord is now part of the empire of Electronic Arts in Redwood
Shores, CA. Although he is now The Game Lord of EA, he will always
be notorious for his many years of work at SNK.
